INSTRUCTIONS

Instruction for Israel Travel Zion Holy Land Tours, India.

Climate and Clothing
❖ On this tour you travel in varying climates. So to resist the cold weather, especially in Israel and Amman,
CARRY CLOTHES – SWEATER, SHAWL, ETC.
➢ Cap (CAP WILL BE GIVEN WHEN WE ENTER ISRAEL)
➢ Bring cold creams, Moisture creams, and Lip Guard
➢ Comfortable shoes/sandals with a firm grip are recommended.
➢ At the Dead Sea, carry a bath towel and your swimming trunk/shorts/nighty/churidar, Swimming cap, etc.
➢ Temperature in Jerusalem – May Max 27 deg /Min 17 deg mostly no rain.

Baggage
➢ The baggage allowed is only 20 Kg for check-in + 7 kg to carry in hand.
➢ Liquids, creams, paste, iron equipment, etc. are not allowed in the hand baggage.
➢ You can carry your documents, a set of clothes, a camera, etc. in your hand baggage.
➢ Kindly don’t include any valuables in your baggage.

Food
➢ Pickles and snacks can be carried in the check-in baggage.
➢ Diabetic persons are advised to bring/buy safe sugar-free snacks and beverages.
➢ Carry 1 bottle of mineral water, while on tour.
❖ Snacks can be carried during the journey.
❖ Please do not carry fruits, vegetables, or meat items.

Currency
❖ Currency and Personal Expenses~
➢ Foreign Exchange for Personal Expense: Minimum 300 USD per person.
➢ Telephone calls can be made from the hotel room for which you shall pay the bills.
➢ We advise you to hold a foreign exchange with bills.
➢ Exchange rate: 1USD = 3.53 Shekel
➢ Everybody is to hold only USD no other currencies can be exchanged there.

Shopping
➢ No wayside shopping, please. Separate time will be given in exclusive shopping zones.
➢ Shop for holy artifacts in Bethlehem and in Cana for the renowned Cana Wine.
➢ You can also do shopping at select duty-free shops.

General Instructions
➢ Punctuality should be strictly maintained. In the morning please assemble 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Also do a report after each site visit, on time.
➢ Carry the hotel card with you and also the telephone number of the local guide.
➢ Listen to the explanation given in all important spots by our tour leaders and then clear your doubts if any.
➢ Carry a Bible, devotional songbook, prayer book, etc.
➢ Bring souvenirs to carry along the blessings from the holy spots.
➢ Never forget to take with you a Universal Electronic Adapter to charge your mobiles, digital cameras, etc. because the nature of electronic plugs varies across countries.

➢ Always look for the Chief Coordinator, and the local guide, and obey their instructions, as they are the ‘reliable shepherds’ of our tour program, and their knowledge and experience will help you and each and every member of the team to make the peaceful, easy and memorable pilgrimage.
Insurance and Medical
❖ Your routine medicines for personal ailments, for at least 15 days, should be carried with you.
❖ A first aid kit is also essential.
